Call for poets - last Axis Slam
On the 23rd October we'll be hosting the final Axis Slam, with prizes of featured gigs at A Lovely Word in Liverpool and Testify Poetry in Chester.
We're sad to be shutting up shop (for now, you never know where we might pop up again in the future) but I know we'll go out with an exciting, exhilarating bang and continue to bring you the best of spoken word talent from across the UK.
On a wholly selfish level this is a bit of an extra special slam for me. I'm delighted to bring my Cosmocartography UK & Ireland book tour to Crewe, which holds a special place in my heart and witnessed the birth of probably most of the collection.
A night of endings, beginnings and competitive performance poetry.
